It would also be wonderful on a child’s toy box or as a “Baby’s Room” sign on a door. (It would be so funny as an “Enter at your own risk” sign for your teenager’s room) Your sign comes with two command strip Velcro hangers so it is ready to apply to the surface of your choice. The sign is made on 1/4 plywood which keeps the sign very light and easy to handle and store.

To use the command strips:

Thoroughly clean your surface with a residue free cleaner such as alcohol. (Be sure the surface is completely dry before attaching your command strips)

Push the Velcro together on two strips. Remove the protective paper from one side of the command strip and apply this to the sign. Keep in mind the surface you will be placing your sign on and place the command strip correctly. Repeat for other side.

Peel the protective paper from both strips that you’ve placed on your sign. Check the placement and level and press the assembly against the toy box or chosen surface.

Tips for success:
Do not hang over beds. Do not use on wallpaper, or paper or fabric surfaces.

Make sure the wall is clean, Command strips will not adhere to a dirty wall.

Use a level; a bubble level will work, but a laser level is even better.

TAKE YOUR TIME! You can lightly hold a Command strip against the surface to adjust placement but once you press it firmly against the wall there is no way to move it without starting over.

If you need extra command strips they are easily found at retailers such as Walmart, Target or the Home Depot; buy “small 4# Command Picture Hanging Strip”

*Our signs are made using a heat press process which allows the ink to absorb into the surface of the paint on the wood sign. The result is a very durable and washable sign.
